Jinja City taxi park gets new police post.

In a proactive effort to support law enforcement and enhance public safety in Jinja city, MM Integrated Steel Company Limited, a leading iron sheet manufacturing facility, has embarked on a mission to empower the Uganda Police Force by constructing police posts across the country. Their most recent project involved the establishment of a state-of-the-art police post worth UGX 35 million in Jinja taxi park, supplementing five other police posts already constructed in areas like Jinja old and new bridges.

The bustling taxi park, home to over 500 vehicles, has faced challenges due to limited police presence and resources. The newly established police post is poised to equip the police force and enhance their ability to work effectively, providing them with all the necessary resources and accommodations they need to serve the community better.
