Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Affairs and Chairman, UNAFRI Governing Board, Hon. John Mulimba recently paid a courtesy visit to MM Integrated Steel Mills Factory in Jinja.

During the visit, he engaged in a productive discussion with the company’s CEO, Mr. @herambkumthekar. The discussion covered key topics, including strategies for increasing market value for Ugandan products within EAC market, promoting fair competition, and leveraging Uganda’s natural resources, such as oil and iron ore.

The introduction of Alu-Zinc Iron Sheets, a new product from MM Integrated Steel Mills’ production line, caught Hon. Mulimba’s attention. He was particularly impressed by the @motisungrouptz substantial investment in Uganda. In response, Hon. Mulimba expressed his commitment to ensuring greater government support for dedicated investors like MM Integrated Steel Mills, recognizing their contribution to the country’s industrial growth and resource utilization.
